I'm unsure whether I should look at this current moment in time as painful due to my aching arm (booooo.....) or whether I should smile, and have a positive outlook on this current moment in time, simply due to the fact that I am now to write another blog post on Ramadan prep Insha-Allah.
Usually, it takes the first ten days of Ramadan to get use to the actual concept of not eating or drinking for a number of hours, and the hunger and thirst can become slightly more intense during summer. However, a recommended tip to help one get used to this before hand in order to concentrate on the blessings of the month, is to fast Pre-Ramadan, and perhaps (just maybe...) with the right intention, you may gain some reward...
Personally, I recommend fasting on Thursdays and Mondays, as it is Sunnah (a practise of the Prophet PBUH) to fast on these days.
As a side note, fasting a few days before Ramadan, is a bit of a dodgy area, personally, I recommend doing some research into this area in order to find out more, as I, myself, hope to Insha-Allah.
Asaalam-U-Alaikum!
